Getting Here

Traveling to Canada’s Yukon and its scenic capital, Whitehorse, is easy and affordable. With regular direct flights from Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, you can hop on a plane and be here in the same two hours that city slickers spend commuting each day. Through the gateway of Vancouver, Whitehorse is also well connected by air to the rest of North America, Europe and Asia. In the summer months, the city even has direct service to and from Frankfurt, Germany.

Alternatively, you can take your time traveling to the Yukon. The world-famous Alaska Highway provides excellent, all-season access to the territory from southern Canada, and presents the opportunity for an unforgettable road trip. You can also get your car or bicycle to the Yukon by taking a ferry up the Inside Passage to Skagway or Haines, Alaska, which both have year-round road connections to the Yukon.

And, if you’re a train buff, you can even reach the Yukon through a spectacularly scenic combination of rail, ferry and highway travel.
